AnImoL's Basics for Counter-Strike
I hope to assist someone with these words, if not in a good way at least in making you know how it is not supposed to be done.
In Counter-Strike you have your character and nine others.
My way of playing is always centered on myself.
Like my father taught me about driving. Defensive driving. This was a great teaching.
Always try to do your part first. Then you have space to do something else.
The last thing you may do is taunt. So we have the limits.
Do the basic then you can dance on your enemy's graves.
Lets start with the basics.
If you are a Counter-Terrorist you have to prevent the Terrorists from planting the bomb on one of two spots.
If they plant the bomb then you start another level of acting.
Always
cover your team when they are exposed. If your ally is an easy target
you can focus more on aiming and shooting while he tries to avoid
getting shot and also killing the enemy if the confrontation is
inevitable.
Looking at the radar is crucial to winning a game. If you are not aiming and shooting always check the radar.
When
the round starts check where your allies are going. Go to the weakest
spot if you are the strongest in the team. If you are the weakest of the
team always use your current abilities to make the team win.
If you are good at dodging bullets, great. Try to be a bait. I have started like this.
After
some time you get so good at shooting that the enemy will think that
you are just a bait but you end up getting five kills on a single round.
All
maps have main defending spots. Check those first. Always be on the
best possible spot. This may not mean the safest since the enemy is
trained to check the most used places first. Always try something that
the enemy does not expect. This applies to EVERYTHING that you can do
with the keyboard and mouse.
Lets take some examples. If you make
noise walking away from a spot the enemy may think that the place is
empty. With this advantage your ally can get an easy kill or even you
may go back without making any noise and get him with a nice surprise. A
grenade may explode on a certain height and position making the enemy
think about where it was thrown and calculating your current position.
Random information: If you like stealth check out some videos from the Vietnam LERPS(Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols)
Winning a game is all about thinking better than the enemy.
Shooting is hard only if you have less than 10 hours or have never used a particular weapon before.
If
the terrorists manage to plant the C4 do not panic. Try to always be at
the same distance to the bomb as your allies. If they start to rush
into it, do the same. If you are sure that you are safe enough to check
the scores hold TAB and see if all terrorists have died. After they are
all dead let the closest CT to the bomb defuse it. I personally avoid
being close to the bomb unless no one else can defuse it in time.
Now some more personal ideas that you may not agree with and I even might change them later if new stuff shows up in my mind:
Shoot,
hold shift, crouch if you have to empty your clip right away AND know
that your enemy can only kill you by luck. This is an example of a
formula to play without thinking a lot.
Always be ready to go and
defuse the bomb in time. No one likes slow people that CAN kill the
enemy but CANT defuse the bomb in time. Killing the whole enemy team means nothing if you do not win the round.
COVER THE SPOTS THAT NO ONE ELSE DOES
GL(Good luck) HF(Have fun)
I shock em.
